The Kaladan Sunni Jamae Mosque in Mawlamyine was built in 1862 by an Indian diamond merchant named Sayae Yaya. Standing at 158 feet tall, it is a place of worship for Sunni Muslims and a landmark mosque in Mawlamyine from the colonial era. The mosque was said to be constructed by Indian artisans who were brought in to replicate a mosque from India.
To address deterioration from leaks and weather, the Sunni Jamae Mosque Board of Trustees have to submit a request to the government for permission to make repairs. All maintenance and renovations must follow the regulations outlined in the official guide book.

မော်လမြိုင်၊ ကုလားတန်းစွန္နီဂျာဗလီကြီးကို ၁၈၆၂ ခုနှစ်တွင် အိန္ဒိယစိန်ကုန်သည်ကြီးတစ်ဦး Sayae Yaya မှ ဆောက်လုပ်ခဲ့သည်။ ၁၅၈ ပေအမြင့်ရှိပြီး၊ စွန္နီအစ္စလာမ်ဘာသာဝင်တို့၏ ဝတ်ပြုရာဗလီတစ်ခုဖြစ်ကာ ကိုလိုနီခေတ်တွင် ဆောက်လုပ်ခဲ့သော မော်လမြိုင်၏ အထင်ကရဗလီကြီးတစ်ခုလည်း ဖြစ်သည်။ အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံမှ ပညာရှင်များ ခေါ်၍ အိန္ဒိယရှိ ဗလီအတိုင်း ဆောက်လုပ်စေခဲ့သည် ဆိုသည်။
စွန္နီဂျာမေဗလီဂေါပကအဖွဲ့မှ ကြီးကြပ်ထိန်းသိမ်း၍ မိုးရေယိုမှု ရာသီဥတုဒဏ်၏ ယိုယွင်းပျက်စီးမှုအတွက် နိုင်ငံတော်ကို တင်ပြီး ပြင်ဆင်ခွင့်လျှောက်ကြရသည်။ ချမှတ်ထားသော စည်းကမ်းချက်များ (Guide Book) အတိုင်း ပြင်ဆင်ထိန်းသိမ်းရသည်။
