Asset Information

Around 2022, many paintings were seen on the western passageway of the Kuthinayone Pagoda. Now, many of them are no longer there; only two paintings remain on the western passageway, and one is kept in a building near the southern entrance. It was found that they were painted by Maung Nyunt Maung, a student of artist U Ba Thein. The year they were created is unknown. These artworks are important for those who study Burmese painting history and those interested in Jataka paintings.
The other paintings may have been removed due to the earthquake on March 28, 2025. Some buildings near the pagoda and its passageway were also damaged. The paintings appear to have been affected by the earthquake, and the remaining three are at risk of disappearing.
The Kuthinayone paintings can be compared to paintings from other locations to show the evolution of Jataka paintings. There is also the Ananda Temple near Kuthinayone, and its Jataka paintings can be studied in comparison.

၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်ခန့်က ကုသိနာရုံ အနောက်ဘက်စောင်းတန်းတွင် ပန်းချီကားအများအပြားကို တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ရပါသည်။ ယခုအခါ အများအပြား မတွေ့ရတော့ဘဲ၊ အနောက်ဘက်စောင်းတန်းတွင် ပန်းချီကား (၂) ချပ်နှင့် တောင်ဘက် မုခ်ပေါက်အနီးရှိ အဆောက်အဦတစ်ခုတွင် ထားရှိထားသော ပန်းချီကားတစ်ချပ်သာ တွေ့ရှိခဲ့ရသည်။ ဆန်းယဥ်ယဥ်ပန်းချီဆရာ ဦးဘသိန်း တပည့် မောင်ညွန့်မောင်ရေးဆွဲထားသည်ဟု တွေ့ရှိရသည်။ ရေးဆွဲသည့်ခုနှစ်သက္ကရာဇ်ကို မသိရှိရပါ။ ထိုပန်းချီလက်ရာများသည် မြန်မာ့ပန်းချီသမိုင်းလေ့လာသူများနှင့် နိပါတ်တော်ပန်းချီလေ့လာလိုသူများအတွက် အရေးပါပါသည်။
ကျန်ပန်းချီကားများကို မတွေ့ရသည်မှာ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် မတ်လ ၂၈ ရက် ငလျင်ကြောင့် ဖြုတ်သိမ်းထားခြင်း ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါသည်။ ဘုရားနှင့် စောင်းတန်းအနီးရှိ အဆောက်အဦတချို့လည်း ထိခိုက်ပျက်စီးမှုများရှိသည်။ စောင်းတန်းရှိ ပန်းချီကားအများစုမှာ ငလျင်ကြောင့် ထိခိုက်ခဲ့ပုံရပြီး ယခုကျန်ရှိသော ပန်းချီကား (၃) ချပ်မှာလည်း ပျက်စီးသွားမည့်အန္တရာယ် ရှိနိုင်ပါသည်။
ကုသိနာရုံပန်းချီများကို အခြားနေရာများမှ ပန်းချီများနှင့် နှိုင်းယှဥ်ပြီး နိပါတ်ပန်းချီများ၏ တိုးတက်ပြောင်းလဲမှုကို ဖော်ထုတ်နိုင်ပါသည်။ ကုသိနာရုံအနီးတွင် အာနန္ဒာဘုရားရှိပြီး၊ ထိုဘုရားရှိ နိပါတ်တော်ပန်းချီများနှင့်လည်း နှိုင်းယှဉ်လေ့လာနိုင်ပါသည်။
