  Built by King Alaungsithu approximately 500 years ago, Taung To Pagoda is constructed from brick and stone. It features 147 stupas, displaying an architectural style reminiscent of those found at Kakku, Inn Tain, and Nam Sis pagodas. The pagoda houses Buddha statues, stucco floral motifs, and reliefs crafted in the Konbaung style. At the old passageway, two lion statues stand guard, and a "Sin Khan" (elephant-supported) pagoda can also be found, showcasing preserved ancient artwork.

  Traditionally, an alms-offering ceremony is held on the full moon day of Tazaungmon. Taung To Pagoda is recognized as an important religious site, linked to Than Taung Pagoda, Inn Tain Pagoda, Nan Pan Pagoda, and Alo Taw Pauk Pagoda. Recently, the pagoda sustained minor damage from the 2025 earthquake.

  တောင်တိုဘုရားကို အလောင်းစည်သူမင်းကြီးက လွန်ခဲ့သော နှစ် ၅၀၀ ခန့်က အုတ်နှင့် ကျောက်ဖြင့် တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့သည်။ တောင်တိုတွင် စေတီပေါင်း (၁၄၇) ဆူရှိပြီး ကက္ကူ၊ အင်းတိန်၊ နမ့်စစ်ဘုရားများ၏ ဗိသုကာလက်ရာနှင့် တူသည်ကို တွေ့ရပါသည်။ ကုန်းဘောင်ခေတ် လက်ရာဟန် ဆင်းတုတော်များ အင်္ဂတေပန်း၊ ရုပ်ကြွများကို တွေ့နိုင်ပါသည်။ စောင်းတန်းဟောင်းတွင် ခြင်္သေ့ရုပ်တုနှစ်ခုကို တွေ့ရပါသည်။ ဆင်ခံဘုရားကိုလည်း တွေ့မြင်နိုင်ပါသည်။ ရှေးမူမပျက်လက်ရာများကို ထိန်းသိမ်းထားသည်။

  တန်ဆောင်မုန်းလပြည့်တွင် တောင်တိုဘုရားဆွမ်းလောင်းပွဲ ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိပြီး သန်းတောင်ဘုရား၊ အင်းတိန်ဘုရား၊ နန်းပန်ဘုရား၊ အလိုတော်ပေါက်ဘုရားတို့နှင့် ဆက်စပ်နေသည့် ဘုရားစေတီပုထိုးများအဖြစ်လည်း အလေးထားလေ့ရှိသည်။ လက်ရှိအခြေနေမှာ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် ငလျင်ဒါဏ်ကြောင့် အနည်းငယ်ထိခိုက်မှု ရှိပါသည်။
