Located nearly 2.4 kilometers to the north of Nyaung Shwe, Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery is standout for its red-painted teak building that was built in the 19th century by Nyaung Shwe Sawbwa (Saopha of Yawnghwe). Inside it is covered with carved wooden bas-reliefs decorated with colorful glass mosaics and gold paint.

ရွှေရန်ပြေဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်းသည် ညောင်ရွှေစော်ဘွား စပ်စောအုံ တည်ထားခဲ့သည်။ သစ်တိုင် ၁၆၇ တိုင်ဖြင့် မင်းပြဿဒ်နန်းပုံစံတည်ဆောက်ပြီး မှန်စီရွှေချများဖြင့် အလှဆင်ထားသော ဂျီဩမေတြီ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန် ပြတင်းပေါက်မျာနှင့် တည်ဆောက်ထားသည်။ တာတက်ပွဲ နှစ်စဉ်ကျင်းပလေ့ရှိသည်။ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ် စစ်ကိုင်း ငလျင်ကြောင့် ပျက်စီးမှုအချို့ရှိခဲ့ပါသည်။
